Empowering Women Entrepreneurs Through Microfinance

Economic empowerment of women is a cornerstone of sustainable development. Our microfinance program has been instrumental in helping women entrepreneurs across Rwanda access the capital they need to start and grow their businesses.
Program Impact
Since its launch, our microfinance initiative has supported over 200 women entrepreneurs, providing them with access to small loans, business training, and mentorship opportunities. The results have been remarkable:
- 200+ women entrepreneurs supported
- 95% loan repayment rate
- 150+ new businesses established
- Average income increase of 300%
- 500+ indirect beneficiaries through employment
Success Stories
Marie Uwimana, a mother of three from Kigali, used her microfinance loan to start a small tailoring business. Today, she employs five other women and has expanded to include a small retail shop.
"The microfinance program didn't just give me money," Marie explains. "It gave me confidence, skills, and the support I needed to believe in myself as a businesswoman."
Holistic Approach
Our program goes beyond just providing loans. We offer comprehensive business training, financial literacy education, and ongoing mentorship to ensure long-term success.
This initiative represents our commitment to gender equality and economic empowerment, creating lasting change in communities across Rwanda.
